Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated JAN 19, 1999.

A.M. No. 98-12-392-RTC (Re: Inhibition of Judge Ismael O. Baldado, in Criminal Case No. 97-197-MJ.)

Acting on the Order, dated 15 September 1998, of Judge Ismael O. Baldado, Regional Trial Court, Branch 45, Bais City, voluntarily inhibiting himself from trying and deciding Criminal Case No. 97-197-MJ, entitled "People vs. Rani Garcia" for reason of delicadeza, considering that the victim, as well as the accused in the said case, are his close relatives, the Court Resolved to: (a) NOTE and AFFIRM the order of inhibition dated 15 September 1998 of Judge Ismael O. Baldado of the Regional Trial Court (Branch 45), Bais City and (b) DESIGNATE Judge Winston M. Villegas, Regional Trial Court, Branch 43, Tanjay, Negros Oriental, to hear, try and decide Criminal Case No. 97-197-MJ at the Regional Trial Court, Branch 45, Bais City, utilizing for the purpose the personnel of the latter court. Judge Villegas shall be entitled to travelling allowances.
