Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated JUL 14, 1999.

G.R. No. 136297 (Lydia L. Tiosejo, et al. vs. Aniceto Maliuat and Emiliana Maliuat.)

Acting on the motion of petitioners for reconsideration of the resolution of 19 April 1999 which denied the petition for review on certiorari for late filing, the Court RESOLVES to DENY the same with FINALITY, no compelling reason having been adduced tow arrant the reconsideration sought; besides, the issues raised in the petition are essentially factual and there is no sufficient showing that the Court of Appeals had committed any reversible error in the questioned judgment to warrant the exercise by this Court of its discretionary appellate jurisdiction in this case.
