G.R. No. 137575 (Bienvenido Alilain, Jr. vs. Serafin G. Maleficio.)

Acting on the motion of petitioner for reconsideration of the resolution of 12 April 1999 which denied the petition for review on certiorari for lack of merit as it was prosecuted manifestly for delay and the questions therein are too unsubstantial to require consideration, and for non-compliance with the provisions of Rule 45 governing appeals by certiorari to the Supreme Court as provided in the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure, as amended, the Court RESOLVES to DENY the motion with FINALITY for lack of merit.
