G.R. No. 137816 (Jaime de Guzman vs. People of the Philippines.)

Acting on the motion of petitioner for reconsideration of the resolution of 26 April 1999 which denied the petition for review on certiorari for lack of service of copy of the petition on the Court of Appeals and verified statement of the date of receipt of the assailed decision of the Court of Appeals, the RESOLVES to DENY the same with FINALITY, no compelling reason having been adduced to warrant the reconsideration sought. Accordingly, the motion therein to file attached amended petition for review on certiorari and the aforesaid amended petition for review on certiorari are NOTED WITHOUT ACTION.
