G.R. No. 138829 (Rommel Solante, et al. vs. People of the Philippines.)

The motion of petitioners for extension of thirty (30) days from 02 June 1999 within which to file petition for review on certiorari is DENIED for petitioners' failure to serve a copy of the motion on the Court of Appeals and submit a written explanation for its non-personal service on respondent as well as the registry receipts as proof of such service by registered mail on respondents pursuant to Sections 4, 11 and 13, Rule 13 of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure, as amended.
