Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated MAR 1, 1999.

G.R. No. 131876 (Rural Bank of Sto. Tomas, Inc. and Spouses Isagani and Erlinda Paquera vs. Floro Trinio).

Considering the letter of Atty. Gabriel L. Arguelles, counsel for respondent Floro Trinio, dated January 19, 1999, requesting a certificate of finality in this case, and it appearing that petitioners failed to file the intended petition for review on certiorari within the prescribed period, the Court RESOLVES (a) to INFOR the parties that no petition has been files in this case and that the judgment sought to be reviewed has now become final and executory, and (b) to declare this case CLOSED and TERMINATED.
