Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information is a resolution of this Court dated MAR 3, 1999.

G.R. No. 134100 (Spouses Bienvenido and Remediso C. Manuel, et al vs. Romeo G. Jaring, represented by his attorney-in-fact Ramon G. Jaring, et al.; Purita Alipio, petitioner).

Considering the explanation of Atty. Dante G. Ilaya, counsel for respondents, on his failure to timely file respondents' comment on the petition for review on certiorari as required in the resolution of September 7, 1998, the Court FINDS the same UNSATIFACTORY and RESOLVED (a) to IMPOSE upon Atty. Ilaya a FINE of P1,000.00 payable to this Court within ten (10) days from notice hereof or imprisonment of five (5) days if such fine is not paid within the prescribed period; and, (b) to require him to COMPLY with the resolution of September 7, 1998 by submitting to this Court respondents' comment on the petition for review on certiorari also within ten (10) days from notice hereof.
