Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated MAR 8, 1999.

G.R. No. 137291 (Abelardo Ejercito , et al. vs. Hon Aniano Desierto, in his capacity as Ombudsman, et al.)

The motion of petitioners for an extension of fifteen (15) days from February 11, 1999 within which to file a petition for certiorari is DENIED, the affidavit of service of copies of the motion on respondents not being in accord with Section 13, Rule 13 in relation to Section 2, Rule 45 of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure as amended, since it failed to state the place of such service by registered mail.
