Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated MAR 9, 1999.

A.M. No. 99-3-01-SC (Re: Travel Abroad of Associate Justice Leonardo A. Quisumbing.)

Acting on the Letter of Mr. Justice Leonardo A. Quisumbing dated 4 March 1999, requesting authority for a country visit to Singapore under the SC-UNDP Project, etc. from 11 to 16 March 1999, to observe and learn about the experience of the Singapore Judiciary being a regular participant to the various multi-sectoral consultations conducted by the SC-UNDP Project in the different regions of the country, and to head the Philippine delegation together with Associate Justice Buenaventura J. Guerrero, Court of Appeals, Atty. Antonio M. Elica�o, Chief Judicial Staff Head, Office of the Chief Justice and Atty. Jose Midas P. Marquez, Court Attorney VI and SC-UNDP Project Director, with the expenses for this trip to be borne by the SC-UNDP Project, the Court Resolved to APPROVE the aforesaid request for travel abroad of Justice Buenaventura, J. Guerrero, Atty. Antonio Elica�o and Atty. Midas P. Marquez.

They will be leaving on 10 March 1999 and will be back on 17 March 1999.
