Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated JAN 17 2000.

G.R. No. 90828 (Melvin Colinares, et al. vs. Court of Appeals and People of the Philippines.)

This case was transferred to the First Division on 18 May 1999.

Upon verification of the rollo, the Court found that there is a need to determine whether the parties are interested in the further prosecution of this case and whether the bail bonds for the accused are still valid.

Accordingly, the Court Resolved to REQUIRE (a) the parties to move in the premises and (b) the petitioners to inform the Court of their present whereabouts and whether their bail bonds are still valid.

The parties shall submit their compliance with this Resolution within ten (10) days from notice hereof.
