Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated
JUL 24, 2000.G.R. No. 133520 (Hon. Jose Bautista, Jr. vs. Arellano Law Foundation, Inc. and/or Mariano F. Magsalin Jr.)
In the Comment to the petition filed by herein respondents (pp.156-157, Rollo), they allege that the petition has been rendered moot by virtue of the Memorandum of Agreement dated September 7, 1998 executed by both parties to settle their differences. The agreement included the withdrawal or dismissal of all criminal, administrative and civil cases petitioner filed against respondents (pp. 158-159, Rollo). Respondents thus pray for the dismissal of the petition. In his, Reply (pp. 170-171, Rollo), petitioner joins the motion of respondents to dismiss this case.
Accordingly, upon respondents' motion which is joined by the petitioner, this case is hereby considered DISMISSED and TERMINATED.
