[ G.R. No. 107320. June 14, 2000]
A' PRIME SECURITY SERVICES, INC., vs. NLRC, et al.
THIRD DIVISION
Gentlemen:
Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated JUN 14 2000.
G.R. No. 107320 (A' Prime Security Services, Inc., vs. National Labor Relations Commission (Second Division), Hon. Arbiter Valentin Guanio and Othello Moreno.)
For resolution is a Motion for Reconsideration of the Decision of this Court, dated January 19, 2000, dismissing movant's petition for certiorari and affirming the Resolution of the National Labor Relations Commission in NLRC NCR Case No. 00-02-01038-89. The Decision sought to be reconsidered ruled that private respondent's employment with movant is a continuation of his employment with Sugarland Security Services, Inc., that private respondent is a regular employee of movant, and the dismissal of private respondent is illegal.
Evidently, the motion poses nothing new. Movant simply reiterates the thrust of its petition. The points raised and arguments advanced in support thereof have been amply passed upon, and after giving the same a second hard look, the Court discerns no sustainable basis for reconsidering its action thereon.
WHEREFORE, petitioner's motion for Reconsideration is hereby DENIED for want of merit.
SO ORDERED.
Very truly yours,
(Sgd.) JULIETA Y. CARREON
