Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated MAR 6 2001.

G.R. No. 133387-423 (People vs. Expedito Abapoy y Siroihos)

Pursuant to the judgment of this Court dated March 31, 2000, Criminal Cases Nos. 10715-SP (98) to 10751-SP (98) (SC G.R. Nos. 133387-133423) were remanded to the court a quo for purposes of rearraignment. and further proceedings. On November 27, 2000, the herein accused was rearraigned and again pleaded guilty to the crimes charged. The Honorable Judge Zorayda Herradura-Salcedo rendered judgment convicting the accused of 37 counts of rape. The original records of the case which were remanded to the lower court are now with this Court for review. However, the records of the proceedings after the remand of the cases were not forwarded to this Court.

In view of the foregoing, the court a quo is hereby ordered to elevate the records of the proceedings taken by the court after the cases were remanded to the court a quo for the rearraignment of the accused together with the evidence received by the court pursuant to this Court's directive.
