RE: TASK FORCE ON ADJUSTED OFFICIAL WORKING HOURS UNDER ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 32

Gentleman:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated 10 APR 2002.

A.M. No. 02-4-01-SC(Re: Task Force on Adjusted Official Working Hours under Administrative Order No. 32 of 18 March 2002 issued by the President.)

Pursuant to Administrative Order No. 32 dated 8 March 2002 of Her Excellency Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, and upon recommendation of Clerk of Court Luzviminda D. Puno, the Court Resolved to APPROVE the following guidelines on the adjusted official workings hours under said administrative order:

(a)   The prescribed office hours for the month of May 2002 shall be from 8:00 A.M. to 6:30 P.M.from Mondays to Thursdays.Lunch break is for thirty (30) minutes from 12:00 noon to 12:30 P.M.;

(b)   Day-off shall be observed on Fridays except only the Receiving Section of the Judicial Records Office as well as its complementary Cashier's Office whereby the necessary skeletal force shall be in effect;

(c)   No overtime service or flexi-time shall be allowed for the said period; and

(d)   Justices shall arrange their sessions or hearings in such a way that it will not prejudice, hamper or restrict judicial services and the expeditious and effective administration of justice.
