Gentlemen :

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated APR 10 2002.

G.R. No. 137353(Ruben Lim, petitioner, vs. Antonio Basco, respondent.)

Before us is a petitioner's motion for reconsideration of our Resolution dated July 11, 2001 dismissing the instant petition for review on certiorari since it raises a question of fact.

In his motion for reconsideration, petitioner-movant prays that respondent should be ordered to pay P1,600,393.00, not P210,000.00 as civil liability.

Both the trial court and the Court of Appeals found that respondent's loan from movant is only P210,000.00, not P1,600,393.00.It bears reiterating that it is not the function of this Court to reexamine the lower courts' findings of fact.While there are exceptions to this rule, movant has not shown its entitlement to any of them.

WHEREFORE , the motion for reconsideration is DENIED with finality.
