RE:PURCHASE OF 1,500 COMPUTER UNITS & PERIPHERALS

Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated 15 JAN 2002.

����������� A.M. No. 01-5-03-SC(Re:Purchase of 1,500 Computer Units and Peripherals.)

The Court Resolved to:

(a)   NOTE the Memorandum dated 19 December 2001 filed by the Committee on Bids in compliance with the resolution of 11 December 2001, re Conference with Columbia Computer International Corp. (CCI);

(b)   CANCEL the award the Fujitsu Philippines, Inc. in light of its inability to supply the required computer units and peripherals as per Supreme Court specifications and at its original proposed price of around P98 million;

(c)   ACCEPT the revised proposal of CCI;

(d)   AWARD the contract to supply 1,500 computer units and peripherals to CCI as per its revised technical proposal at P98,780,000.00; and

(e)   ORDER the immediate issuance of the purchase order, the posting of performance bond and the commencement of the processes leading to the delivery of the required computer units and peripherals.
