Gentlemen:
Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated JUN 10 2003 .
G.R. No. 157916 (Atty. Manuel J. Laserna, Jr. vs. Hon. Executive Secretary, Hon. Secretary of National Defense; and The Hon. Secretary of Foreign Affairs.)
In accordance with Rule 65 and other related provisions of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure as amended, governing petitions for certiorari, prohibition and mandamus filed with the Supreme Court, only petitions which are accompanied by or which comply strictly with the requirements specified therein shall be entertained. On the basis thereof, the Court Resolved to DISMISS the instant petition for certiorari and prohibition with prayer for temporary restraining order for non-compliance therewith, particularly for failure to accompany petition with a clear legible duplicate original, or certified true copy of the assailed decision certified by the Clerk of Court of the court a quo in violation of R65.1 and Rule 46.3 in relation with Rule 56.2.
