Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated JUN 8 2004 .

G.R. No. 144656 (People of the Philippines vs. Gerrico Vallejo y Samartino .)

The Court Resolved to NOTE the Letter dated 5 May 2004 of Director Dionisio R. Santiago, Bureau of Corrections, informing the Court that the execution of the death penalty imposed upon prisoner Gerrico Vallejo y Samartino, accused in Crim. Case No. 37599, was not carried out as scheduled on 20 May 2004 in view of the reprieve granted by Her Excellency, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, transferring the execution to 18 August 2004, in compliance with the order of the Court dated 29 April 2004.
