Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated APR 26 2005.

G.R. Nos. 155091-93 (People of the Philippines vs. Ruben Sumingit Ago.)

The Court Resolved to NOTE the Return Order of Arrest filed by Mr. Jose Ermie A. Monsanto, NBI, Supervising Agent, Regional Office VII, Cebu City, stating that (1) on 30 March 2005, Atty. William Garcia was arrested by the NBI and was placed under detention at the NBI Regional Office VII, Cebu City; and (2) while on detention, Atty. Garcia complied with the order of this Court by making a brief and paying the fine of Three Thousand Pesos (P3,000.00) using a postal money order addressed to this Court as payee.
