Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated APR 19 2005 (Taken up on 26 April 2005).

G.R. No. 166715 (ABAKADA GURO PARTY LIST [Formerly AASJS] Officers/Members Samson S. Alcantara, et al. vs. Hon. Juanita Amatong, in her capacity as Secretary of Finance, et al.)

The Court Resolved to GRANT the Motion for Substitution dated 15 March 2005 filed by counsel for petitioners, stating that soon after the filing of the petition, respondents Hon. Juanita Amatong and Hon. George Jereos have been succeeded by Hon. Cesar V. Purisima and Hon. Alberto D. Lina, respectively; with prayer that Hon. Cesar V. Purisima and Hon. Alberto D. Lina be ordered substituted in lieu of Hon. Juanita Amatong and Hon. George Jereos as respondents in the above-entitled case.

Henceforth, this case shall be entitled as G.R. No. 166715 (ABAKADA GURO PARTY LIST [Formerly AASJS] Officers/Members Samson Alcantara, et al., vs. Hon, Cesar V. Purisima, in his capacity as Secretary of Finance, Hon. Guillermo Parayno, Jr., in his capacity as Commissioner of the Bureau of Internal Revenue, and Hon. Alberto D. Lina, in his capacity as Commissioner of the Bureau of Customs).
