Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated JAN 18 2005 .

G.R. No. 160427 (Polala Sambarani, et al. vs. Commission on Elections, et al.)

The Court Resolved to

(a) NOTE the Vigorous Opposition to Motion for Leave to Intervene with Prayer for Issuance of an Order of Finality of Judgment dated 6 November 2004 filed by counsel for petitioners;

(b) DENY the Motion for Reconsideration of the resolution of 16 November 2004, dated 21 December 2004 filed by Candidato B. Manding for himself and other intervenors, in view of the denial of their motion to intervene in the same resolution; and

(c) GRANT the Urgent Motion for Issuance of Final Entry of Judgment dated 24 December 2004 filed by counsel for petitioners.
