GREETINGS:

WHEREAS, the Supreme Court, on 26 July 2005, adopted a resolution in the above-entitled case, to wit:

G.R. No. 144296 (People of the Philippines vs. Dominador de Aros y Ulegue).- It appearing from the records that Atty. Confesor Sansano, counsel for appellant, failed to comply with the resolution of 1 March 2005 within the period fixed therein which expired on 19 March 2005, the Court Resolved to

(a) ORDER the arrest of Atty. Confesor Sansano; and

(b) DIRECT the National Bureau of Investigation to cause the ARREST of Atty. Confesor Sansano and to DETAIN him at the NBI, Manila, until he files the required reply brief.

Let a copy of this resolution be attached to the records of Atty. Confesor Sansano in the Office of the Bar Confidant." Corona, J., on official leave.

NOW, THEREFORE, You, Director of the National Bureau of Investigation, are hereby commanded to (a) ARREST as soon as possible Atty. Confesor Sansano, Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Rm. 235, 2^nd Floor Hall of Justice Building, Diliman, Quezon City; (b) CONFINE him at the NBI Main Office detention cell until he files with this Court the required reply brief; and (c) make an immediate RETURN OF COMPLIANCE herewith.
