Sirs/Mesdames:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated JUL 12 2005 .

G.R. Nos. 157236-45 (Romeo D. Lonzanida vs. Hon. Sandiganbayan.)

It appearing from the records that Atty. Pilarita T. Lapitan, Office of the Special Prosecutor, failed to comply with the show cause resolution of 14 September 2004 within the period fixed therein which expired on 9 October 2004, the Court Resolved to (a) IMPOSE upon Atty. Lapitan a FINE of One Thousand Pesos (P1,000.00) payable to this Court within five (5) days from notice hereof, or a penalty of imprisonment of five (5) days if the said fine is not paid within the said period, and (b) REQUIRE Atty. Lapitan to COMPLY with the resolution of 14 September 2004 by filing the required memorandum within ten (10) days from notice hereof.
