G.R. No. 167599 (Miguel D. Escobar, Felipe K. Constantino, Juanito H. Purisima, Teodorico F. Diaz, Eugene L. Alzate, Redempto Y. Abiso, Marlind L. Marcelo and Hernando L. Sibugan vs. Hon. Ombudsman Simeon V. Marcelo, Antonio Valenzuela [Deputy Ombudsman for Mindanao] and Fred Maghanoy.)

The Court Resolved to DISMISS the petition for error in the choice or mode of appeal in light of the decision dated 16 September 1998 in G.R. No. 129742, entitled Teresita G. Fabian vs. Hon. Aniano A. Desierto, et al., and the resolution dated 9 February 1999 in A.M. No. 99-2-02-SC.
