Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated SEPT. 14, 2006

"G.R. No. 174177 (PHILCOMSAT Holdings Corporation, Philip G. Brodett, Luis K. Lokin, Jr., Roberto V. San Jose, Delfin P. Angcao, Roberto L. Abad, Alma Kristina Alobba and Johnny Tan vs. Senate Committee on Government Corporations and Public Enterprises, its Members and Chairman, the Honorable Senator Richard Gordon and Senate Committee on Public Services, its Members and Chairman, the Honorable Senator Joker P. Arroyo)

Acting on the Special Civil Action for Certiorari and Prohibition with Prayer for the Issuance of a Temporary Restraining Order and Preliminary Injunction, the Court Resolved, without giving due course to the petition, to

(a) REQUIRE the respondents to file a CONSOLIDATED COMMENT on the petition in this case and in G.R. Nos. 174318 and 174340, on or before 12:00 noon of September 20, 2006, Wednesday, to be personally served on the Court and on the parties;

(b) CONSOLIDATE this case with G.R. Nos. 174318 and 174340; and

(c) SET the three (3) cases for ORAL ARGUMENT on September 21, 2006, Thursday, at 1:00 p.m. at the New Session Hall, New Supreme Court Building.

The Court further Resolved to NOTE the following pleadings filed by counsel for petitioners:

(a) Motion for Special Raffle dated September 5, 2006; and

(b) Urgent Motion to Resolved Application for Temporary Restraining Order dated September 8, 2006." Corona, J., no part due to close relations to a party. Carpio and Carpio-Morales, JJ., on official business.
