SUBJECT:
EXEMPTING BARANGAY OFFICIALS FROM PAYING FEES FOR CLEARANCE ISSUED BY
THE
COURTS OF FIRST INSTANCE AND THE PROVINCIAL FISCAL'S OFFICE.
For the
information
and guidance of all concerned, quoted hereunder is the Resolution of
the
Court En Banc dated March 17, 1977, in Administrative Matter
No.
2510-MC, Re: Request to exempt all Barangay officials from fees for
clearance issued by the Court of First Instance and the Provincial
Fiscal's
Office, to wit:
"Considering:
[a] Resolution No. 130, series of 1975 of the Sangguniang Bayan of
Alicia,
Isabela, requesting exemption of Barangay officials from clearance fees
issued by the Court of First Instance and the Provincial Fiscal's
Office,
forwarded to this Court by Resolution No. 180 of Sangguniang
Panlalawigan
of Isabela; [b] the letter dated September 24, 1976, of Nicanor Y.
Fuentes,
Deputy Director-General of the National Economic Development Authority;
[c] the second Indorsement dated October 11, 1976 of Secretary Jose A.
Roño of the Department of Local Government and Community
Development,
strongly recommending favorable action on the aforesaid request; and
[d]
the letter dated October 5, 1976 of Juanita D. Asuncion, former
Secretary,
National Council of Alicia, Isabela, the Court resolved to exempt all
Barangay
officials from fees for clearance issued by the Court of First Instance
and the Provincial Fiscal's Office. Let this Resolution be circularized.
Please be
guided accordingly.
