AND DOMESTIC RELATIONS COURTS, CITY COURTS AND MUNICIPAL CIRCUIT COURTS
SUBJECT: CLARIFICATION OF CIRCULAR NO. 2 DATED MAY 4, 1982, ASSIGNING JUDGES TO BE ON DUTY DURING WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS. In response to request coming from Judges, Circular No. 2 dated May 4, 1982, is clarified to the effect that all Executive Judges, whether in single sala courts or multiple sala stations, are directed to assign, by rotation, City or Municipal Judges within their respective territorial districts to be on duty on Saturdays from 8:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. assisted by a skeletal force also on rotation, primarily to act on petitions for bail and other urgent matters. On Saturday afternoon, Sundays and working holidays, any Judge may act on bailable offenses conformably to the provisions of Section 7, Rule 112 of the Rules of Court. All Executive Judges, whether in single sala or multiple salas, shall remain on duty on Saturday mornings. Compliance herewith is strictly enjoined. May 28,
