MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 03-2004 ORGANIZING THE SC
SHUTTLE BUSES COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, as part of its program to extend additional economic benefits to its personnel, the Supreme Court purchased shuttle buses to help the personnel save in their expenses for transportation; WHEREAS, in view of the increase in the number of shuttle buses, there is a need to properly administer and maintain them and oversee their operations; WHEREAS, there is likewise a need to review and rationalize the guidelines for the proper use, maintenance and management of the shuttle buses, as well as for the effective supervision of the users thereof to ensure that their time to prepare for the trip schedule in the afternoon would not affect their official working schedule; WHEREAS, to pursue these goals and accomplish these ends, there is a need to organize or constitute a committee for the purpose. WHEREFORE, the SC SHUTTLE BUSES COMMITTEE is hereby organized and constituted, to be composed of the following:
The Committee shall have a Secretary to be designated by the Chairperson. The Committee shall properly maintain, administer and manage the SC Shuttle Buses, oversee their use, and supervise the conduct of the users thereof to ensure that official working hours would not be affected. The Committee shall prepare a draft of the revised or modified set of guidelines to effectively implement the objectives of this Memorandum Circular and to submit such draft to the Office of the Chief Justice not later that 30 April 2004. This Memorandum Circular shall take effect upon its issuance. Issued this 18th day of March 2004 in Baguio City. HILARIO
