On the construction of the statute of Virginia emancipating slaves brought into that state in 1792 unless the owner removing with them should take a certain oath within sixty days after such removal, the fact of the oath's having been taken may be presumed by the lapse of twenty years accompanied with possession. chanrobles.com-red
