(a) This part is issued by the Office of Thrift Supervision (“OTS”) as a supplement to the Freedom of Information Act regulations of the Department of the Treasury, 31 CFR part 1, subpart A, which apply to the OTS as a component part of the Department of the Treasury. (b) This part is issued by the OTS pursuant to the requirement of section 552 of title 5 of the United States Code, which requires every federal agency to publish in the [54 FR 49444, Nov. 30, 1989, as amended at 60 FR 66716, Dec. 26, 1995; 66 FR 65819, Dec. 21, 2001] OTS will make materials available for review on an ad hoc basis when necessary. (Please identify the materials you would like to inspect, to assist us in serving you.) We schedule appointments on business days between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. In most cases, appointments will be available the next business day following the date we receive your request.
