Title 48 - Federal Acquisition Regulations System
As prescribed in 642.1406–2–70(a), insert the following clause:
Notice of Shipments (JUL 1988) At the time of delivery of supplies to a carrier for onward transportation, the Contractor shall give notice of prepaid shipment to the consignee establishment, and to such other persons as instructed by the Contracting Officer. If the Contractor has not received such instructions by 24 hours prior to the delivery time, the Contractor shall contact the Contracting Officer and request instructions from the Contracting Officer concerning the notice of shipment to be given.
