(a) For classes of grants and grantees subject to this part, Federal agencies may not impose additional administrative requirements except in codified regulations published in the (b) Exceptions for classes of grants or grantees may be authorized only by OMB. (1) All Departmental requests for exceptions shall be processed through the Assistant Secretary of Administration. (2) [Reserved] (c) Exceptions on a case-by-case basis and for subgrantees may be authorized by the affected Federal agencies. (1) All case-by-case exceptions may be authorized by the affected operating administrations or departmental offices, with the concurrence of the Assistant Secretary for Administration.
