GENERALLY
Sec. 4224. Fees; accounting; stamps
The provisions of sections 1196 \1\ and 4223 of this title, relative
to official fees and the method of accounting therefor shall apply to
diplomatic officers below the grade of minister and to consular
officers.

Amendments
1931--Act Feb. 23, 1931, substituted ``shall apply to diplomatic
officers below the grade of minister and to consular officers'' for
``shall include both branches of the Foreign Service''.
Effective Date of 1931 Amendment
Section 7 of act Feb. 23, 1931, provided: ``That this Act [see
Tables for classification] shall take effect on July 1, 1931.''
