Sec. 1231. Persons eligible for equal share payments
The funds on deposit in the Treasury of the United States to the
credit of the Chemehuevi Tribe of Indians which were appropriated (by
the Act entitled ``An Act making supplemental appropriations for the
fiscal year ending June 30, 1965, and for other purposes'', approved
April 30, 1965 (79 Stat. 81)), to pay the judgment awarded by the Indian
Claims Commission (dockets numbered 351 and 351-A), together with
interest thereon, shall be distributed by the Secretary of the Interior
(hereafter in this subchapter referred to as ``Secretary'') in equal
shares to those persons whose names appear on the roll prepared in
accordance with section 1232 of this title.
