Section, act June 25, 1948, ch. 646, 62 Stat. 942, directed that the
Court of Claims have jurisdiction to review by appeal final judgments in
the district courts in civil actions based on tort claims brought under
section 1346(b) of this title if the notice of appeal filed in the
district court had affixed to it a written consent on behalf of the
appellees that the appeal be taken to the Court of Claims.
Effective Date of Repeal
Repeal effective Oct. 1, 1982, see section 402 of Pub. L. 97-164,
set out as an Effective Date of 1982 Amendment note under section 171 of
this title.
