§ 253l-3. — Contract authority of Chief Administrative Officer of the House of Representatives.

Sec. 253l-3. Contract authority of Chief Administrative Officer
of the House of Representatives
During fiscal year 2001 and any succeeding fiscal year, the Chief
Administrative Officer of the House of Representatives may--
(1) enter into contracts for the acquisition of severable
services for a period that begins in 1 fiscal year and ends in the
next fiscal year to the same extent as the head of an executive
agency under the authority of section 253l of this title; and
(2) enter into multiyear contracts for the acquisitions of
property and nonaudit-related services to the same extent as
executive agencies under the authority of section 254c of this
title.
