Another provision of title III of act July 2, 1942, ch. 472, 56
Stat. 493, which also had been shown as one of the sources of this
former section, made an exception with respect to purchases or services
rendered for the Office of the Administrator of Civil Aeronautics, when
the aggregate amount involved did not exceed $100. That provision was
not repealed, but, if it did not expire with that act, which was an
appropriation act, it was superseded by section 5 of this title, as
amended.
