Section 1191, R.S. Sec. 2471, related to falsely making or altering
instruments concerning lands, mines, or minerals in California.
Section 1192, R.S. Sec. 2472, related to falsely dating evidence of
title under Mexican authority to lands in California.
Section 1193, R.S. Sec. 2473, related to presenting false or
counterfeited evidences of title to lands in California.
Effective Date of Repeal
Section 705(a) of Pub. L. 94-579 provided that the repeal made by
that section is effective on and after Oct. 21, 1976.
Savings Provision
Repeal by Pub. L. 94-579 not to be construed as terminating any
valid lease, permit, patent, etc., existing on Oct. 21, 1976, see
section 701 of Pub. L. 94-579, set out as a note under section 1701 of
this title.
