BATAS PAMBANSA BILANG. 240

BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 240 - AN ACT CREATING BARANGAY JUNCARLO IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN ANDRES, PROVINCE OF ROMBLON

Section 1. The sitios of Soong, Green Valley, Camburukay, Dago-ok, Tilalay, Fronda and Juncarlo, all from Barangay Pag-alad, of the Municipality of San Andres, Province of Romblon, are separated from said barangay and constituted into a distinct and independent barangay to be known as Barangay Juncarlo. 

Sec. 2. The Barangay Juncarlo shall be bounded as follows:

Beginning at point marked 1 of Barangay Juncarlo, Municipal Government of San Andres, Romblon, being N-40-51 E, 4954.30 M from BLLM No. 1, San Andres Subdivision PLS 874 hence:

Thence S53-31 E 119.403 M to point 2;
Thence  S16-45W 1075.641 M to point 3;
Thence S14-41E 868.33 M to point 4;
Thence S86-29W 1302.66 M to point 5;
Thence S48-07W 778.97 M to point 6;
Thence N37-54W 848.54 M to point 7;
Thence N7-29W 768.53 M to point 8;
Thence N10-18W 670.82 M to point 9;
Thence N8-45W 131.53 M to point 10;
Thence N3-58W 192.35 M to point 11;
Thence N5-42W 602.99 M to point 12;
Thence N5-42W 602.99 M to point 13;
Thence N62-06E 1154.12 M to point 14;

of beginning.

All points marked on the ground by old B.L. Cyl. concrete monuments. Bounded on the east along lines 1, 2, and 3 by Barangay Marigondon Norte; on the east and south, along lines 3, 4, 5 and 6 by Barangay Pagalad; along lines 10, 11 and 12 by Barangay Calunacon; on the west or north, along lines 12, 13, and 14 by Barangay Linawan, and the north and east along lines 14 and 15 by Barangay Marigondon Norte.

Sec. 3. After ratification of the majority of the votes cast in a plebiscite to be conducted in the area affected within a period of ninety days after the approval of this Act, the President of the Philippines shall appoint the officials of the new barangay. Said officials shall hold office until their successors shall have been duly elected and qualified.

Sec. 4. The barangay herein created shall begin to exist upon appointment and qualification of its officers. 

Sec. 5. The Commission on Elections shall conduct and supervise the holding of the plebiscite and the expenses for such plebiscite shall be charged to the appropriations of the Commission on Elections for said purpose.

Sec. 6. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
