WHEREAS, these missionaries have mingled socially with the Filipino
people, embraced their customs, traditions and ideals, and learned to
speak one of the Philippine dialects; and
WHEREAS, by virtue of their long and invaluable service to the Filipino
people, these missionaries have proven themselves worthy of all the
rights, privileges and prerogatives of citizens of this country;chanroblesvirtualawlibrary
WHEREAS, their superiors strongly recommend the grant of citizenship to
them and the proper officials of the Philippine Government have
recommended such grant of citizenship to them:cralaw:red
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines,
by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, do hereby
