REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5503  - AN ACT APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR THE PHILIPPINE VETERANS ADMINISTRATION

Section 1.    The sum of five million pesos is appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, as additional funds to be expended by the Philippine Veterans Administration for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and sixty-nine, as follows:  

1.    To implement the Educational
    Benefits Program as provided
    for by Republic Act No. 65, as
    amended     P4,500,000

2.    To pay pensions and death
    gratuities as provided and for
    by Republic Act No. 610    500,000
    ————

    Total    P5,000,000

Sec. 2.    This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
