REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5679 - AN
ACT ESTABLISHING A FILIPINO WAR MEMORIAL AND AUTHORIZING THE
APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR Section 1. There is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of one million pesos for the establishment of a Filipino War Memorial at the Government Center in Quezon City or wherever the President of the Philippines shall deem it proper to establish, so as to house the relics, documentary and photographic records, paintings, the weapons and ammunition used in war, as well as models, statues and other war memorials. Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its
