Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated APR 7, 1999.

G.R. No. 122275 (Ma. Consolacion Lazaro vs. Court of Appeals, Teresita Borja, et al.)

The Court RESOLVES to: (a) GRANT the motions of petitioner for extension of thirty (30) days from 12 February 1999 and of respondents for extension of thirty (30) days from 14 February 1999, both within which to file their respective memoranda in this case; and, (b) NOTE [1] aforesaid memorandum for petitioner dated 10 March 1999 and [2] her remittance of P500.00 as deposit for costs, both in compliance with the resolution of 25 November 1998.

Considering the motion of counsel for petitioner dated 18 February 1999 for leave to admit petitioner's manifestation of compliance with the resolution of 25 November 1998 with explanation for the delay incurred in complying with Court's directives therein, the Curt GRANTS the motion but finds the explanation therein UNSATISFACTORY and ADMONISHES counsel for petitioner to exercise greater care and circumspection in the discharge of his duties as officer of the Court.
