Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated APR 12, 1999.

G.R. No. 137137 (Kapalaran Bus Line and Lauro Gil Limjuco vs. Mauro Marasigan.)

The motion of petitioners for extension of thirty (30) days from 7 January 1999 within which to file petition for review on certiorari is DENIED for petitioners' failure to pay the deposit for costs and to submit the postal registry receipts as proof of service by registered mail of copies of aforesaid motion on respondent and on the Court of Appeals pursuant to Sections 2 and 3, Rule 45 in Relation to Section 5, Rule 56 and to Section 13, Rule 13, respectively, of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure as amended.

Accordingly, the manifestation and motion of petitioners to admit copies of the foregoing motion for extension and for acceptance of the tendered filing fees is DENIED.
