Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this court dated AUG 25, 1999.

G.R. No. 135715 (Presidential Ad Hoc Committee on Behest Laons, etc. vs. Ombudsman Aniano Desierto, et al.)

The copy of the resolution of 22 February 1999 addressed to respondents Mohammad Ali Dimaporo, Abdulla Dimaporo and Amer Diamalan at Marawi City, 9700 Lanao del Sur, which was returned to this Court unserved with notation "Out of Town," and the copies of the resolution of 19 April 1999 separately addressed to the respondents Panfilo Domingo, Conrado Reyes and Enrique Herbosa at PNB, 1300 Pasay City and to respondent Ricardo Sunga at 3/F Jovan Condominium, 1550 Mandaluyong City, which were returned to this Court unserved with notations "Unknown" and "Moved," respectively, are deemed SERVED on aforesaid addressees by substituted service pursuant to Section 8, Rule 13 of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure, as amended, pending filing of private respondents' comment on the petition for review on certiorari and confirmation by petitioner of the fact of death of respondent Conrado Reyes.

The motion of respondent Ombudsman Aniano A. Desierto for partial reconsideration of the resolution of 22 February 1999 insofar as it granted the consolidation of this case with the other behest loan cases and his comment dated 5 August 1999 on the petition for review on certiorari are NOTED.
