Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this court dated AUG 23, 1999.

G.R. No. 139234 (City of Las Piñas vs. Benjamin Peñaranda, et al.)

The motion of petitioner for extension of thirty (30) days from the expiration of the reglementary period within which to file petition for review on certiorari is DENIED for petitioner's failure to serve copy of the motion on the Court of Appeals in accordance with Section 4, Rule 13 in relation to Section 2, Rule 45 of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure, as amended.

The comment of respondent dated 26 July 1999 on aforesaid motion for extension of time to file petition is NOTED.
