Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated FEB 17, 1999.

G.R. No. 114185 (People vs. Ricardo Tobias.)

The Court Resolved to (a) NOTE the letter dated 8 January 1999 of Emerito B. Luyun, OIC, Office of the Banch Clerk of Court, Branch 36, Regional Trial Court, Santiago City, forwarding to this Court, a copy of the Order issued in aid case on 6 January 1999 by Assisting Judge Fe Albano Madrid; and (b) INFORM Judtge Fe Albano Madrid that on 18 January 1999 this Court issued the following resolution:

The Court Resolved to NOTE the letter dated 14 December 1998 of Judge Efren A. Lamorena, Branch 36, Regional Trial Court (RTC) of Santiago City, filed in compliance with the resolution of 11 November 1998.

The Court further Resolved to DIRECT Judge Lamorena to (1) COMMIT accused Ricardo Tobias to the New Bilibid Prisons in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, and transmit the entire records of Criminal Case No. 36-1605 entitled People of the Philippines vs. Ricardo Tobias, for murder, to Branch 276 of the RTC of Muntinlupa City, both within twenty (20) days from notice hereof; and (2) SUBMIT proof of compliance within the same period.

The Court further Resolved to REQUEST Judge Madrid, as the incumbent Assisting Judge of Branch 36, to COMPLY with the directives in said resolution within twenty (20) days from notice hereof.
