Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated FEB 3, 1999.

G.R. No. 134966 (Armando T. Chiong, et al. vs. Faustino T. Chiong, et al.)

Acting on the motion of petitioners for reconsideration of the resolution of November 9, 1998 which denied the petition for review on certiorari for late filing and for lack of appropriate service of the petition on the lower court, the Court RESOLVES to DENY the same with FINALITY, no compelling reason having been adduced to warrant the reconsideration sought. Petitioners' supplement to their motion for reconsideration of the resolution of September 21, 1998 denying their motion for extension of time to file the petition is NOTED WITHOUT ACTION the main motion for reconsideration of the said resolution having been denied with finality in the resolution of December 2, 1998.
