Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated FEB 1, 1999.

G.R. No. 136356 (Grace Home Builders Corporation vs. Cooperativa Ceramica Dimola.)

The motion of petitioner for an extension of thirty (30) days from the expiration of the reglementary period within which to file a petition for review on certiorari and its motion to admit the affidavit on non-forum shopping as part of and supplement to the aforesaid motion for extension of time are GRANTED.

Acting on the petition for review on certiorari dated January 11, 1999, the Court RESOLVES to DENY the same for being insufficient in form for lack of proper verification in accordance with Section 4, Rule 7 of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure, since affiant merely alleged that the contents of the petition are true and correct without indicating the basis thereof and accordingly, the petition is treated as an unsigned pleading, which under Section 3, Rule 7 of the said Rules, produces no legal effect.
