Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated FEB 22, 1999.

G.R. Nos. 137006-08 (Juanita Ramos vs. People of the Philippines.)

Acting on the petition for certiorari, the Court RESOLVES to DISMISS the same for failure to submit a verified statement of the date of receipt by petitioner of the assailed decision in accordance with Section 4, Rule 65 in relation to Section 3, Rule 46, as amended by Resolution dated July 21, 1998 of the Court En Banc in Bar Matter No. 803 in relation to Section 2, Rule 56 of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure and for being a wrong remedy, the proper recourse being a petition for review on certiorari of the decision of the Court of Appeals under Rule 45 of the aforesaid Rules.
